Hand Painted Dark brown glass bottle (Vanilla blooms & Plain Tiger Butterflies). What a Perfect Gift for that someone special or just keep it for yourself. It is so easy to make your own vanilla, takes only a few minutes and tastes so much better than the stuff in the grocery store.
I have hand painted this wide-mouthed dark glass bottle with giant vanilla blooms among large vibrant green leaves, each bloom is painted with a mixture on cream, pale yellow and a very light green. Plain Tiger Butterflies are fluttering around the gorgeous blooms.
The bottles style dates back to the early 1900s, with a ceramic swing-top cap, adding to the authenticity of the design. The black glass creates an elegant presentation and allows the vanilla to age well. The bottle swings from a metal handle that is easy to carry but this piece is able to be removed if so desired. Perfect for setting on the countertop in the kitchen. Vanilla beans not included.
Diameter at base: 3.5"
I can add the recipe for making your own vanilla - it is "oh so good" in cookies and cakes - really makes the difference and lasts forever.
The paints are cured; then oven fired in a Commercial Hi-temp control oven for a professional and durable product.
I do not recommend putting this into the dishwasher, over time the paint may wear in the dishwasher. I strongly advise hand washing with a gentle soap and use a soft towel to hand dry. This item is NOT microwave safe and should not be frozen. Please do not wash with bleach based soap or bleach alternative. Never soak any hand painted glassware for any period of time, as it can dull the luster in the paint
If care is taken - this glassware will last for many years to come.
