I only use the best hummingbird feeders to paint on! Why would I use anything else? It takes days to paint each feeder and if its a poor quality it is likely to leak at some point. The paint is baked on and I can honestly testify that it will not chip off in cold weather or discolor in extreme heat. Rain doesn’t bother it either although it would be foolish to hang it under a sprinkler - not that I am worried. I know because I tested a piece of glass by leaving it out on the patio through the long Wisconsin winter (of course not with liquid) and absolutely nothing changed.

The wide mouth design allows for easy filling and cleaning. Its bright-red plastic top and base are visually appealing while catching the attention of passing hummingbirds. The non toxic paints are cured; then oven fired in a Commercial Hi-temp control oven for a professional and durable product. I recommend hand wash when cleaning using a mild non-abrasive soap. Never let the glass stand in water. Using care will keep the colors bright and long lasting.
